Impeachment Gaining Attention in Congress

Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, recently handed out copies of a book that has been described by its authors as the “articles of impeachment” for Barack Obama, and suggested that special investigations, and possibly prosecutions, are needed over Fast and Furious, Benghazi and other Obama scandals.

But Stockman is not the only member of Congress to discuss impeachment in response to the actions of Obama and his administration. A total of 15 members have discussed this idea recently.

Rep. Bill Flores, R-Texas, was speaking at a town hall meeting when he considered the idea.
“I’ve looked at the president. I think he’s violated the Constitution. I think he’s violated the Bill of Rights,” he said.
He said at some point a decision must be made.
“I think if the House had an impeachment vote it would probably impeach the president.”
But he noted there are only 46 members of the GOP in the U.S. Senate, where an impeached president would be put on trial.

To obtain a conviction, the prosecuting team must have 67 votes, and he wasn’t sure that even all of the GOP members would vote to convict.

Other members of Congress who have made comments about impeachment include Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.; Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla.; Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, R-Mich.; Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Rep. Blake Farenthold, R-Texas; Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla.; Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah; Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.; R-Texas; Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas; Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla.; Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa; and Rep. Ted Yoho, R-Fla.

Here's an idea. Begin the impeachment right now.  And if it does not pass then the American people with have a list of all members of Congress who vote No which will be a list of people to vote out of office for not doing their job.

Obamacare is Failing and Here is Obama's Plan to Fix it

Most of the people who have enrolled in Obamacare so far have been people older than 50, many with pre-existing medical conditions.  However, to make Obamacare financially viable, it will require younger healthier Americans who are willing to pay more money than a mortgage and two car payments combined for a product that they do not need, do not want and will likely not use.

The skew toward the older crowd raises concerns that there will not be enough payments from young people to offset the cost of providing coverage for the older, ailing population, the Wall Street Journal reported.
"We need a broad range of people to make this work, and we're not seeing that right now," Heather Thiltgen of Medical Mutual, one of Ohio's largest insurers, told the Journal. "We're seeing the population skewing older."
If the older drift continues, a more expensive base of customers, older and less healthy would drive up costs for everyone even further than they already have been.  The federal government has committed to reimburse insurers if they underestimated costs.

Under questioning from Maryland Democratic Sen. Mikulski about how the administration would get more young people enrolled, Marilyn Tavenner declinned to detail specifics, but said it would be "a combination of media - both television, radio, and some print."

The campaign would run through December, January, February and March, and would focus on specific markets.  Tavenner would not identify those areas, either.

Ok, so lets try to wrap our heads around what is beginning to look like a B-rated horror movie unfolding before our eyes:
  • Obama promised that "The Affordable Health Care Act" would make health insurance "Affordable" for everyone.  Instead it is completely Unaffordable for most Americans.  And in many case will force people into extreme poverty.  All because they are being forced to either buy a product they don't want or pay a fine for not buying a product they don't want.
  • Obama promised that if you liked your current health care plan that you could keep it and that nobody was going to take it away from you. Period.  Instead millions of people have already had their coverage canceled because of Obamacare and that number is projected to reach over 93 Million.
  • $634 Million of tax payer dollars was spent just to create the website to sell this disaster and it didn't even work.  More money is being spent to fix the website as we speak.
  • Insurance companies have been told that they will be given more American tax dollars if they don't feel they are making enough money off of us.
  • $130,000 of tax payer money was given to an NFL team to promote Obamacare.
  • A $500,000 grant has been given to write Obamacare into Hollywood plot lines.
Now at this point it is painfully clear to any sane person with an ounce of common sense that Obamacare is a complete disaster that should have never been allowed to get this far and the only reasonable and logical coarse of action to take now would be to repeal it...right?

But what is the Obama Administration's plan to "fix this?"  Throw even more American Tax Money into the media over the next few months to spread Obamacare Propaganda believing that it will dumb down the American people to accept this nightmare.

Forget about the fact that the entire concept of forcing people to buy a private section product or face a government penalty is completely insane.

Forget about the fact that most people can not afford this and for many buying the product or paying the fine will be completely impossible and is nothing short of a death sentence.

Nope...just throw more of our tax dollars into spreading lies.  That is the Obama way.

Texas Small Businessman Forced to Sell Company Because of Obamacare

Obama keeps claiming businesses are not being affected by obamacare regardless of the stories about workers hours being cut, not hiring new staff or laying people off along with cutting into the bottom line. The truth about the damage obamacare is doing to the business owners is irrelevant to Obama and his administration because they are deliberately trying to tank the US economy!

Texas business owner Bill Lawrence is another example of the truth, first cutting workers hours from full-time to part-time. Thats not enough and paying the penalties in his case of $400k wasn’t an option either to where he had to make the eventual decision to sell the business. The new owners of the business are in the same position, taking the staff to part-time basis so it’s not an issue of one running a business better than the other.

How many more Bill Lawrence’s are out there losing a piece of that now dead American dream because of Obama's signature piece of legislation?

More Bad News Coming From Obamacare

Megyn Kelly at Fox News had a great interview with Forbes contributor Avik Roy on how Obamacare is about to wreak even more havoc on the health insurance market.

So far it’s been mostly individual health insurance purchasers who have felt the Obamacare pains, with current plans being canceled and people are being forced into higher premiums and deductibles that they simply can not afford.

Since the focus thus far has been on the impact felt by individual purchasers, many people who get their insurance through their employer have likely been watching and saying to themselves.."I'm glad that is not affecting me".

Well, if you are one of those people get ready because as of January 1, 2014 there is a very good chance that you are going to be thrown in the fire with the rest of us.

Remember Obama's promise that "If you like your health insurance, you can keep it"?  Well the projected number of people to learn the hard way just how big of a lie that promise was is around 93 Million.

Senator gives Sebelius "Web Sites for Dummies" book - Sebelius not happy about it

During an education and outreach session in Memphis on Friday, Republican Tennessee State Senator Brian Kelsey gave Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius a book that he thought she might need: "Web Sites for Dummies."

The book is clearly meant to mock the Obama administration over the disastrous roll out of the Obamacare website.

The Daily News in Memphis was able to capture the moment in a photograph.  As you can see, Sebelius doesn't look very amused.

Personally I find it Hilarious!
